Head of Engineering (AI-Powered B2B SaaS)

Your Mission:

You will be the senior technical leader for a new B2B SaaS platform. Your mission is to take
ownership of the existing product and infrastructure, leading its evolution into a scalable,
secure, and world-class enterprise solution. You will be the primary technical voice in the
company, partnering directly with the executive team to translate a powerful product vision
into a robust and reliable platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Take full ownership of the platform’s codebase (Python/Flask, PostgreSQL, GCP) and production infrastructure, ensuring its health, security, and scalability.
• Lead the day-to-day software development lifecycle, managing the product backlog and translating strategic goals into well-architected technical solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical leader and mentor, performing code reviews and establishing the engineering culture for our future team.
• Lead and mentor a lean, high-performance engineering team, managing the day-to-day development lifecycle and fostering a culture of quality, speed, and innovation.
• Make critical, hands-on architectural decisions that will shape the future of the platform, balancing the need for speed with the discipline of building for the long-term.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Full-Stack Engineer in a product-led B2B SaaS company. You have lived the journey from MVP to a scaled, monetized product.
• Deep, hands-on expertise with a modern web framework (Python/Flask/Django preferred) and a major cloud provider (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable).
• A customer-obsessed and product-oriented mindset. You are a pragmatist who can translate user needs and business goals into robust, elegant technical solutions.
• Demonstrable experience managing production systems, including deployment, monitoring, and incident response. You have the “scar tissue” from keeping a real-world SaaS application alive and healthy.
• Crucially: An open, curious, and experimental mindset. You are excited by the challenge of working with and leveraging cutting-edge tools and workflows to build software more efficiently.
